Mr John-Paul Whittaker provides an orthopaedic hip and knee service as part of a team of experienced surgeons at the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital.

 

To maintain an understanding of up to date surgical techniques and expertise he remains involved with both academic and practical research, delivering lectures at conferences and publishing articles on current hip and knee surgical procedures.

 

Following qualification at Liverpool University, his background hospital training includes working in Chester, Shrewsbury and Liverpool. Higher surgical training in orthopaedics was completed on the prestigious Oswestry scheme. Further specialist experience of complex hip and knee problems was gained during working fellowships at internationally recognised centres of excellence in Exeter and North America.
